 * Hi
 * You mention in your plugin and in tour documentation that for maps (Google Maps)
   to work both Client and Server keys are required. Checking the Google documentation
   for the Google Cloud Platform, they say a single key is used.
 * Why you require 2? Are you maybe not compatible with the new Google Cloud Approach?
 * Thanks,
    Javier

 * Hello [@javieriglesias](https://wordpress.org/support/users/javieriglesias/),
 * A Server API key is required in order to perform server-side geocoding and a
   browser key is required for generating the maps and performing client-side geocoding.
 * GEO my WP uses both geocoding methods in different scenarios. That is why you
   need both server and browser API keys.

 * Understood. My question is how to create these 2 keys in the Google Cloud Platform.
   Have both keys to be created in the same way in GCP? In other words, are both
   keys an exact replica or both must be created in a different way each other?
 * Thanks again,
    Javier

 * Javier,
 * You generate both API keys in a similar way when the difference is in the Application
   Restriction option.
 * [This tutorial](https://docs.geomywp.com/article/141-generate-and-setup-google-maps-api-keys)
   shows you step by step how to create both API keys.

 * Hi Eyal
 * I have managed to correctly set up the keys using your manual, my issue was in
   the server IP address restriction. I have removed the IP restriction and it is
   working fine now.
 * I am using Buddypress in my site and now I am struggling to configure a map showing
   the location of all the registered users. How can I do this? I don’t see any
   documentation in your knowledge base. I have created the map as you describe
   in a ticket, but nothing is shown.
 * Can you explain how your plugin takes the location (address) of each user? How
   can I ask the user to enter the address when registering? Is there a specific
   field I need to create in BP? Can you provide specific steps?
 * Thanks in advance.
    Javier

 * Hello [@javieriglesias](https://wordpress.org/support/users/javieriglesias/),
 * I apologize for the delayed reply.
 * GEO my WP’s location is not connected to the xProfile Fields by default and members
   can add their location using the Location tab that GEO my WP adds to the member’s
   profile page.
 * To sync GEO my WP with BuddyPress xProfile so members can add location during
   registration as well have a look at the [BP Xprofiel Geolocation extension](https://geomywp.com/extensions/buddypress-xprofile-geolocation/).
