 * Hello. I’m fairly new to WordPress. Is there a way for a client to add blog posts
   without logging into the WordPress dashboard? What if they wanted to add video
   and images? Thanks-

 * Without logging into WordPress itself? No.
    You can create a separate user for
   your client with **Author** or **Editor** role, this way they can only create,
   edit posts & pages. They won’t be able to alter themes, plugins or other settings.

 * Yes, there is an option to add anonymous Post without login WordPress Admin dashboard,
   but for that you need to use any plugins which will extends to this feature.

 * Thank you all. Each response was helpful. May I clarify my question a bit?
 * I have a client who blogs. She and I are the only registered users. She wants
   to add blog posts without relying on me, but she is very intimidated by the WordPress
   dashboard.
 * So I guess my question is this: is there way to offer her a different avenue 
   for blogging? Or does she absolutely have to go through the dashboard?
 * I’ve got follow-up questions if you all don’t mind.

 * She have to login to the admin dashboard with her login credentials in order 
   to publish the article. It’s normal to be intimated if she’s using WordPress 
   for the first time. Fortunately, she can find a ton of tutorials on Youtube.
 * Regarding allowing guests to post articles without login, I don’t recommend this.
   Your website may be filled with spam articles overnight.

 * Have her bookmark the new post edit screen (post-new.php). If she needs to login
   to get there, after login, WP will take her straight there without needing to
   see the dashboard and navigate to the right place. For new users, the default
   view is the distraction free view. It’ll take some effort to actually see the
   admin menu and get to the dashboard from that view.
