*Clicks on a post* -> 35 -> What?

    Okay, I don’t know how to install WordPress, to be frank with you. I used the Elephant program in freehostia to install WordPress. I am not a tech genius so please use English or tell me in steps what to do.

    It was all going well, then I enabled the Atom Publishing Protocol and XML-RPC in an attempt to connect flickr external blogging to my blog, I tried to post from there to see if it worked and I get a pretty two-digit “35” in the top left corner of the page, and that’s it. I deleted the post and then did it directly from wordpress, behold! 35 returns to haunt me. Preview? Edit? Same old thing, the ID in the end of the links keep increasing as I make and delete posts with same results. I removed the XML-RPC and Atom Publishing Protocol, but no result.

    What do I do?

    Also I would like to ask how do I… reduce the ID numbers of posts back down to existing numbers? It’s still new and totally overlooked even by google, so I ain’t too worried about links breaking.
