    I've added your great plugin via source code using the following snippet:
    <?php echo do_shortcode('[print-me target=".trcMenu"]'); ?>

    The created page to print looks good, BUTthe original page layout is changed. You can view this effect on the following page:/

    This only happens when using Google Chrome. With Internet Explorer the "Print" button is without function. Firefox is fine.

    Any Ideas what is wrong?

    is trcMenu a var? if so, normally it would be $trcMenu so:

    <?php echo do_shortcode('[print-me target=".$trcMenu"]'); ?>

    It was a typo, .trcMenu is a CSS-class.

    Moin!

    Ok, sorry... got it now. So when you say:

    the original page layout is changed.

    What exactly do you mean? Adding the print-me shortcode changes the layout of your page? Or the printed page had a different layout than the display page?

    Fear not! We'll get you fixed up in a jiffy.

    neither the one or the other :D

    In Chrome:
    - Navigate to http://trattoria-da-giulia.de/karte/tageskarte/
    - Remember how the page looks (http://imageshack.com/a/img163/6320/rk09.png)
    - Click the small printer icon
    - A Popup with Print Preview will show up
    - Close this popup and take a look at the page where you clicked the "print" button => Messed up: http://imageshack.com/a/img716/6671/j1oh.png
