    using 2.2.

    I have 3 categories. one has 6 posts, the other two has 2 posts each.

    I click on a category with only 1 post in that category.

    But it still shows me SIX posts (I only have 6 total posts on my blog). When it should only show ONE in that category.

    Any idea why this is happening?

    math doesnt add up:

    I have 3 categories. one has 6 posts, the other two has 2 posts each.

    3 categories:
    1= 6
    1= 2
    1=2

    Thats 10.

    I click on a category with only 1 post in that category.

    Where is that category in the above equation?

    I only have 6 total posts on my blog

    No, you have 10.

    Unless you are posting to multiple categories.

    yes, posting to multiple cats. http://www.pkyi.com.

    one of the cat has 1 post - cat name is "SEO tips". Clicking on that cat still shows me all 6 posts.

    ok,..update.

    I'm using firefox. seems like that's the problem.

    it works fine in IE.. and safari for windows.

    Why doesn't it work correctly in FF?

    Is this a FF bug or WP bug?

    Then it appears the problem is local on my end.

    OK, I found out what the issue was. I had a 301 redirect in my .htaccess file. I wanted my people to access my site via the http://WWW.pkyi.com. - with the WWW.

    So I added a 301 redirect so that when people access pkyi.com, it would redirect to http://www.pkyi.com.

    However, I forgot to update my URL in the OPTIONS tab. So I added the WWW to my URL fields under the WP-admin options tab. All is well.

    This is also fixed the issue I see with people having problems where they can't create or delete categories.

    I got my solution from here:
