clicking on a gallery in an album takes me back to the home page

I just updated the plugin to the latest.
not when I click on a link to a gallery in an album it simply takes me to the home page of the website.
If I insert a gallery into a page that works.
but not albums (which have several gallerys)
I have tried re-uploading the nextgen files.
creating new albums, but nothing.
