Hi @bhaugen,
Sorry to hear about the odd issue you are facing here! However, we are unable to access http://nxtgenag.com/ — (Reference screenshot )
Once we have access to the form, we can take a closer look and suggest accordingly!
Thanks, and please let us know!
Thanks for reaching out @niksebastian! The site is now visible. I look forward to your suggestions.
Thank you!
Hi @bhaugen,
Thank you for your patience here! I navigated to https://nxtgenag.com/contact/ and was able to submit the form with one click. Please see the reference screencast
Could you please try again with a different web browser and see if the issue gets resolved. For your reference, I used Mozilla Firefox 95.0 and OS X 10.15
Thanks, and please let me know!
@niksebastian that screencast looks fantastic! However, when using Chrome or Edge I’m still needing to click the Submit button multiple times before getting the ‘Thank you’ message.
Suggestions on getting the forms to submit the first time while using the Chrome and Edge browsers?
Thanks!
Brittany
Hey @bhaugen,
Thank you for sharing the specifics about the Browser. I was able to see a 500 server error along with an AJAX error. Please see the reference screenshot
For 500 server error:
This error indicates that your server ran into the set limit of memory allowed for this process. This most often happens when other plugins are running in the background, keeping the site’s memory use close to its limit.
Memory levels can in some cases be set within the site, however the site’s hosting provider will usually put a hard limit on how high this can go. Because of this, it’s often necessary to contact your site’s hosting provider to find out if this can be increased.
Some hosts allow you to manually edit the memory limit, see this guide for a walk-through of how to do this yourself.
Others will prevent you from editing the memory limit yourself, in which case if the above fails to resolve the issue you will need to reach out to your hosting provider to have them increase the memory limit for you.
AJAX Error:
Essentially, the AJAX script (which allows the form to save without refreshing the page) is not being allowed to load. This almost always stems from a file permissions issue. If you contact your host and ask them to reset file permissions, this should start working properly.
I hope this helps! Could you give that permissions solution a shot and please let me know if you have any questions?
Thanks!
Hi @bhaugen,
We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
Thanks!
