Click on link not working

    Good Morning,

    I am experiencing an isuue, when I click on the link to download a file nothing happens, the console throws a warning:
    “Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user’s experience. For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/.”.
    The download only works when I right-click and open the link in new tab.

    Wp-filebase is installed in my Xampp Server in a brand new site, it is the only plugin.
