• Hi,
I’d like to have the ability to click on a jpeg , gif or any other type of image file and have that play a videopress video.

I inserted the pic into the page, then attached the OGG file link (whatever that is) to the image, saved.

Whenever I viewed the image, it just magnified the image instead of playing the link, which is the video. Maybe the only option for videopress is to imped ?

Anyone ever get this to work ? Unfortunately there’s no section of the video I can use that would be a good video icon..
    thanks!

Sure ! I did get an email from someone. I logged into my wordpress.COM site (where videopress stores my videos).

-From the Admin Panel, clicked Media to get a list of my videos
-clicked ‘edit’ under the video I wanted to use
-on the semi-upper right in the ‘save’ box there’s a file url for the video for external linking.

I then on our main site, I just posted a jpeg into the page, clicked the link icon, and pasted the external link of the video I got from the above and it worked fine. The key was just to find the external link of the video. We also use this when sending mailchimps out..

    Hope this helps!

thanks for the info. I will try it.
