    I have a suggestion.

    Create a new event using “Add Event”.

    In the Event Title put “Click here for today’s events” or similar text. (Your visitors will need something to guide them to click on a specific day of the month in order to see that date’s event[s]).

    In the Event Link, put the URL for the page you have created to display that date’s events, which could certainly be something like the URL example you have given above. You can use either the Day and Name permalink setting or the custom permalink setting to preformat your URLs, or simply edit the permalink on the Edit Page screen.
