# Clearing the cache – safe?

 * Hi,
 * Can you please let me know whether it is safe to delete files from within the
   plugin’s `cache` folder?
 * I have read that the `cache/twig` folder should not be removed, but can the CSS
   files directly under `cache` be removed without any adverse effects?

 * Hi, yes it’s safe to delte them, they will be regenerated as needed so you can
   delete them safely
