Clear Object Cache

    I was in the process of backing up my site to upgrade when I noticed the FTP got hung up downloading tons of wp-content/cache/object files. I mistakenly enabled both database and object caching on my site. If I DISABLE it, is it safe to delete these files? If not, is there a way to remove them – I don’t want or need them. Thanks.
