Clear Instructions for the Non-Savvy (2 posts)

I get it that WordPress is a bit on the tech side, but I strongly suggest thorough instructions please on all facets of use. For instance, I have been going in circles and reading web articles, help forum topics, etc. for about six hours straight without finding real help. I'm not stupid, just not uber-savvy with this kind of thing.
I've figured out much by reading. But my logo disappeared (I designed it myself and my web designer installed it) a few hours after I upgraded to the latest version of Atahalpa or whatever it's called. I touched nothing, so I assume it's related to the upgrade.
Users experiencing problems with upgrades each seem to have unique problems, and tech-savvy posters write answers that leave out essential instructions, making forums more tedius than effective.
I need to know how to get my custom logo back up in the spot just to the left of the site title. Can WP please simply write and post lay-person instructions for things like this and/or forum topics that are not clearly answered? Thanks!

The instructions written here are written by users, like you. There are no assigned people, or staff who do this. Its community driven, so if anyone has suggestions, it's up to them to implement. People write in a manner which they understand.

Atahualpa help is specific to that theme, we can't really help you. Your question has nothing to do with WordPress, per se. Every theme is different, and we can't all know all the themes. So you can ask your question here and hope somebody who knows the answer comes by, or you can try taking it up with the theme author which may work better.

If I'm not mistaken, atahualpa theme has a settings backup feature. (I may be wrong). But if so, you must backup the settings BEFORE making an upgrade. If you didn't do that, your changes are lost. You will need to add the logo the same way you did before.
