    Hello,

We’ve noticed that the plugin isn’t clearing the cache when a post is Edited/Updated. In the settings we have “New Post: Clear all cache files when a post or page is published” checked.

Is there a way to ensure the cache is automatically cleared when a post or page is EDITED? We do lots of edits on our site and want to make sure the visitors are seeing the most recent version.

The site is running with Cloudflare CDN too, I’m not sure if that makes any difference.

    Thanks

Maybe cloudflare does not show the changes because the post is cleared after update.

Emre, thanks for your reply. I have realised that Cloudflare actually isn’t running on this site, so we can rule that out.
I have checked again, and the only way for an updated/edited post to show the new content is the manually clear the cache OR to disable the plugin.

Do you have any other suggestions as to why its not working as expected?

    Thanks

Leverage browser caching may cause this issue as well. You should check it via another browser. but if you check it via ftp, it can be better. I have never get such ticket before. It works properly.

    Hi Emre,
I just tried unticking Browser Caching in the WP Fastest Cache settings and its still not automatically clearing the cache when a post is updated.

So currently the only way to refresh the cache after a post update is to manually go to WPFC > Delete Cache after updating a post.

Do you have any other ideas what might be causing the automatic clear not to work?
Thanks for your help thus far.

Hi SecureD, can you send an email please: fastestcache@gmail.com

Not much of a Resolution here. Seems like WPFC has an issue that isn’t openly corrected.
Rather than send private emails, how about providing solutions?

If you explain the problem properly, we can help you.
