 * Hi
 * Some how my first MSG did not go trough if it did then sorry for double posting.
 * I noticed today that when WP rocket and WP asset cleanup plugins are both active

   the Notice in admin area to clear cache of wp rocket can not be desmissed by
   clicking on the Clear cache button. When asset cleanup is deactivated it works
   with no issues at all.
 * 2nd thin I noticed not in my first post.
 * When I set site wide comon unloads following two files (Disable jQuery Migrate
   Site-Wide and Disable Comment Reply Site-Wide) are initialy unloaded. But once
   I edit a Page or Post and then Save it (Gutenberg) those to Options are remooved
   and no longer in the Bulk offloads.
 * Best Regards
    Etuonu

 * [@etuonu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/etuonu/) thanks for reporting these
   potential issues with Asset CleanUp.
 * 1) I’ve made extensive tests between Asset CleanUp and WP Rocket (as it’s a caching
   plugin I often recommend) and in my tests, there were no such issues. Whenever
   I’m clearing the cache in WP Rocket, I’m getting the following message with an“
   x” icon on the right side of the notice to close it (no button):
    “_WP Rocket:
   Cache cleared._” – You’re likely referring to a different notice (depending on
   the plugin version you’re using). Can you make a print screen of that notice
   and share it via [https://prnt.sc/](https://prnt.sc/)? You don’t need to share
   your website URL if you’re not comfortable with that. I’m sure this is an easy
   fix if there’s a conflict somewhere. Also, I strongly recommend you to check
   the browser’s console for errors while you’re clicking that dismiss button. Often,
   it reveals the actual problem.
 * 2) Unloading “jQuery Migrate” and “Comment Reply” in “Site-Wide Common Unloads”
   acts as a shortcut for going to edit post/page and choose the “Unload everywhere(
   site-wide)” option. They were added in “Settings” because they are more common
   and handier to be unloaded. More common ones will likely be added there too (
   WP Embed, Dashicons were added recently). Are you saying that when you’re in
   edit mode for a post/page “jQuery Migrate” row is not showing in red background
   and marked as unloaded? If that’s the case, then it’s a bug (surprisingly) that
   needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

 * [@gabelivan](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gabelivan/) thanx for geting
   back to me so soon.
 * so you can recreate my issue i have done the following.
    All Plugins are disabled
   except for WP Rocket and Asset cleanup.
 * I use following Versions of the Plugins / Theme:
    Theme: Astra and Twenty Nineteen
   Asset Cleanup : 1.3.3.1 (as of today) WP Rocket: 3.5.5.2 Wordpress: 5.2.2
 * Steps to recreate my issue with clear cache Notice.
 * 1) go to plugins Page (deactivate all Plugins)
    2) Tick WP Asset Cleanup and
   WP Rocket and Bulk activate 3) now that Both plugins have been activated you
   should see two Notice infos at the top of the Page. One is Orange and says ”
   WP Rocket: One or more plugins have been enabled or disabled, clear the cache
   if they affect the front end of your site.” and the second one is green an says”
   Selected plugins activated” . 4) Click the “X” on the Green Notice. (notice should
   disappear) 5) On the Orange Notice click on the Button that says “Clear Cache”
   You should now get a new green Notice that says ” WP Rocket Cache cleared” but
   the Orange Notice is still there. 6) Now disable only WP Asset Cleanup Plugin
   7) Klick on the Clear Cache Button in the Orange Notice and now it should be
   gone. 8) Activate any other Plugin (autoptimize for example) The orange notice
   returns but if you click on the Clear Cache Button it disappears as it should.
   9) Activate WP Asset cleanup again. The orange Notice will return but if you
   click on it we have the same issue as before.
 * Now as far as i noticed this affects the way WP Rocket’s clear cache function
   works. Yes you do get the notice that cache is being cleared but I have the impression
   it is not.
    If for example autoptimize is also active wit Wp Rocket and Asset
   Cleanup then clicking the clear cache button on WP Rocket does not clear the
   Autoptimize cache. When WP Asset cleanup ist deactivated it does clear the cache
   of Autoptimize. I hope this will help you find the issue/ if one exists
 * second Issue
    Unloading “jQuery Migrate” and “Comment Reply” in “Site-Wide Common
   Unloads”
 * I use following Plugins / Theme:
    Theme: Astra and Twenty Nineteen jQuery Updater:
   3.4.1 Asset Cleanup : 1.3.3.1 (as of today) Wordpress: 5.2.2
 * Steps to recreate what I am seeing:
    1) All Plugins Deactivated only activate
   Asset Cleanup 2) in Asset Cleanup site Wide common Unloads enable “JQuery Migrate”
   and “Coment Reply” and save. 3) Open any Page for Editing ( I used my Frontpage)
   4) Now without changing anything on the page just click on Update. 5) Return
   to asset “cleanup Common Unloads” in Plugin Setting you should now see that both
   options we set before are now unset again.
 * The same thing happens with “JQuery Migrate” if You edit the setting directly
   on a Page.
 * 1) make sure a function or plugin is loaded that uses “JQuery Migrate” (I used
   Jquery Updater)
    2) open any Page ( I use my Frontpage) 3) Click “Unload site-
   wide (everywhere) * bulk unload” Checkbox and update the Page.it should now show
   you that the file is unloaded. (red color) 4) without changing anything on the
   page press update again now you should see that the Plugin has been re enabled.(
   normal color)
 * 5) If you where to only set the ” Unload on this page” option double saving page
   does not unload the plugin. So every thing works like it should.
 * This seems to Only happens with those two files so far.
 * Hope my info helps
 * Best regards
    Etuonu

 * [@etuonu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/etuonu/) thanks for the detailed
   reply. I’ve checked both situations and just couldn’t find any of the issues
   you did. I’m frankly surprised about it and it could be something related to
   your hosting.
 * 1) You said the WP Rocket version you used in the tests is 3.5.5.2. Are you sure
   about this? Here [https://wp-rocket.me/changelog/](https://wp-rocket.me/changelog/)
   the latest version is 3.3.5.2. Perhaps you meant this one! The tests I’ve made
   were with version 3.3.2. I’ll make tests with the latest version as soon as I
   have the chance, though I’ll be surprised if there would be any differences.
   The best would be to check the browser’s console for JavaScript (red) errors.
   Have you seen any errors there?
 * 2) Are you managing the assets in the front-end view or within the Dashboard?
   Can you send me your “System Info” from “Tools”? You can share it privately via
   [https://gabelivan.com/contact/](https://gabelivan.com/contact/)
 * PS: Do you have the option to cache pages for logged-in users in WP Rocket? It
   could affect the functionality if you manage the assets in the front-end.
