CleanTalk blocking legit customers
-
Hi guys,
My website contains a sign-up form (for new clients to provide their details, agree to Ts and Cs, and make payment). This is linked to Woocommerce. When I first installed CleanTalk it worked well. In recent weeks/months, I have been getting more and more problems:
1. Anyone outside the UK who attempts to sign up is blocked. I can then go into the log and whitelist their email address, but this is obviously more labour on my part and it is annoying for the clients.
2. I have recently had some clients complain that CleanTalk is blocking them for ‘filling out the form too quickly’. I have recently tried to fill out the form at a calm-but-efficient pace and I too got blocked. I then tried to do it slowly and I got blocked, this time for ‘submitting too many forms’. I can only imagine how annoying this must be for clients, who are told that they need to do it slowly, then do it slowly, then get blocked for doing as asked.
My question: Is there any way that I can reduce the enthusiasm at which Clean Talk blocks so many clients? Is there any way to tell Clean Talk that some clients are not based in the same country? Is there any way to allow clients to fill out the form at an above average pace and not get blocked?
Regards, Marek
