# CleanTalk and Formidable Forms

 * There seems to be a bug in the integration from CleanTalk to Formidable Forms.
 * When I turn off CleanTalk then Google ReCAPTCHA in Formidable Forms works.
 * When I turn on CleanTalk it somehow disables Google ReCAPTCHA and/or Formidable’s
   hidden spam trap and I get spam entries in CleanTalk – which I have to sometimes
   look at because of possible false positives.
 * For example, I didn’t see any passed request in Google’s ReCAPTCHA console for
   this successful spam submission:

 * It’s automated spam, there’s only 1 second between getting the contact page and
   submitting the form.
 * I tested the whole thing for a few weeks and it seems it’s related to code from
   CleanTalk and not from Formidable.
 * It would be nice if the Google ReCAPTCHA function (and maybe it’s also the Formidable
   hidden field) would still work when I’m using Formidable Forms with CleanTalk.
   That way I would get less spam in the first place, and the remaining spam would
   be dealt with by CleanTalk.

 * We recommend disabling ReCaptcha to avoid conflicts. 2 similar applications may
   compete with each other.
