Cleaning up the home page

I am trying to clean up the home page of my site http://www.bookspodcast.com/
At the moment, in the home page, at the top of each post, there is a [LIKE] button and a note of who posted it (me); then, at the bottom of each post there is a link to play options, a link to subscribe options and a list of tags. I want to get rid of all those things and links from the home page display.
*** I still want that stuff visible when the visitor goes to a single post on a single page, just not on the home page list.
*** I want to keep the side-bars the same.How do I do that, please?

Hmm! It sounds like something you can try is wrapping those elements in a bit of PHP logic to only render them on single posts.
If you have access to the code, you can try using
is_singular():Here’s the doc for that check if you need for info:
