# Clean up Google Docs code on paste

 * When I paste text from Google Docs on WordPress, Google Chrome always pastes 
   this in EVERY paragraph:
 * `<span style="font-weight: 400;">`
 * Yes: I can clean the format with the TinyMCE button, but it also removes strong
   and em tags 🙁
 * Does anyone have a solution? Somebody was reported [the same issue a year ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/pasting-content-from-google-drive-google-docs-to-visual-editor?).

 * We’re having the same problem.
 * It’s such a timesaver not to have to reformat and add links in the WordPress 
   editor, but now I have to go in and remove the font-weight formatting.
 * Would love a fix for this!

 * Hi [@abbycallard](https://wordpress.org/support/users/abbycallard/)! There’s 
   a “solution” that I don’t like, but is a try while WordPress is fixing this issue
   by using Firefox. Firefox doesn’t paste this code. Just magic!
 * But I prefer to use Chrome : (
