Clean Reinstall question

    Do you think, i could just back up all my entries and then cleanly reinstall wordpress 1.5 and then import the entries back into wordpress?

    or is the process more involved that just the entries?

    I havent done much modification to my blog so restarting is a not a big deal.

    the entrys are stored in your database. You can reinstall wordpress from scratch and after installed run the upgrade.php to upgrade your database.

    It’s always good to make a backup of the MySQL database, but this should be a normal practice of good managemnte of your site

    You don’t have to do a clean install. The upgrade.php script changes the database enough, IMO.

    So after i backup the database through phpmyadmin, i can just delete all the wordpress files and folders on my website and then upload again 1.5 files and rerun the upgrade.php

    That sounds easy.

    I hope that fixes my comments problem.

    Well that didnt fix my comment issues, oh well.
