# Clean re-install?

 * Hello everyone,
 * I’m trying to reinstall WordPress from my site but after I deleted my previous
   files, there is still content on the page.

 * Is there a way to get rid of this? When I reinstalled before, WP kept the previous
   posts and the links (titles, pages, categories, tags) were all dead links. And
   when I went to delete these ‘posts’ in dashboard, they were nowhere to be found.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 * Your site’s content is stored in your database – not in your files. Try using
   a fresh database.
