Support » Plugin: Clean Login » Clean Login forms assigned to wrong pages – login broken

  • Hello,

I am redesigning my website (on a cloned/staging copy) and have started having issues with Clean Login where the “this form is used HERE” thing under Settings >> Clean Login is finding the wrong URLs.

    For [clean-login-restore]
I have trashed the old page that used to have the Password Reset form on – and have made a new page for this (which has the right shortcode). However, the plugin is still only interested in the old page, even though it has been completely deleted.

    For [clean-login]
Instead of picking up the correct links where this form is used (there are two pages using that shortcode) Clean Login instead is listing the Beaver Builder edit template version of one of the pages.

I am using the latest version of Clean Login and of WordPress. I have tried editing and saving the pages where the codes are shown and also deactivating and reactivating the plugin. No luck getting the URLs to correct themselves.

How can I get this plugin to ‘rethink’ what URLs should be identified under “this shortcode is used HERE”?

It’s important because users are being redirected to the wrong places as a result (ie getting 404 errors when trying to reset their password for example). Also, when I test logging in via any Clean Login form I get redirected back to the Beaver Builder edit page (which obviously only works for admins) not to the actual page I have configured in the plugin settings. Users are never successfully logged in – I assume its’s because of this redirect issue?

    Thanks for your help!

Could you please try to resave (update) the page(s) which contains each shortcode? This should solve your issue.
