# Clean install using existing database from previous install?

 * Hello,
 * We apparently downloaded a theme or plugin with some malware in it and need to
   reinstall. Is it possible to delete our existing wordpress site and install a
   new one that would point to the same sql database?
 * Our uploads directory is backed up, so we are not concerned with that.
