• I have an odd problem, in that a new clean install, V4.0 RC-3 only displays as text on my iPad, but on the Mac OSX10.9 it’s fine, and the really odd thing is that three similar installs under different web sites of course all work fine.
This is a new clean install, identical to the 3 working ones, but nothing I do will make this sucker work.
I have even cleaned it out completely, and installed 3.9.2 as a clean install. Same result. The web site is http://www.shanghaitimes.uk
    So strange?
If anyone has an answer to this I’d love to hear it,
    Thanks

Well, it just presented me with an update to V4.0 anyway, from 3.9.2 – however – it still won’t display anything but text on the iPad

You have set your Site Address (URL) to http://www.shanghaitimes.uk, but since your site is actually hosted at http://www.shanghaitimes.podzone.net (and you iFrame it), you should set it to that URL.

Makes no difference actually. As I said, I have three other sites on the same server, all the same installs more or less, and this one, shanghaitimes.uk is the ONLY one that is displaying in text, and not the Theme that it should be showing.

As I said, it’s displaying fine on the Mac, but not on the iPad or iPhone. While the others are. All exactly the same set up.

the podzone.net is only the redirector from DYNDNS.org and has worked fine for years.

ok, yep, I think I found it. The Domain name service does “web redirection” using url’s and not DNS redirecting. Dam! So I either pay them extra for DNS, or move this domain to the same carrier as the others, where DNS management is in the price.
