Did you read the plugin description?
This lite version Clean up the frontend site content enough, but the Pro version Clean up the backend editor admin content and the content into a database.
So the pro version yes will clean up and broken shortcodes Divi…etc within the database.
And about your question:
Does it mean that you can’t revert to Divi after using your plugin?
If you just use the option to clean up frontend site content, yes you can revert to Divi when you activate it again, but if you use the option clean up admin content or database, you can’t revert Divi shortcodes again.
Finally, the plugin just cleans up any broken shortcodes but if the shortcodes back again to be active, the plugin doesn’t touch it.
