Language display problem with the class=”woocommerce-mini-cart__buttons buttons”

This is the cart menu that interactively displays while you are in the shop , you add to cart, and then you hover over the icon (with a number).
It displays my checkout button in Spanish on my live site and correctly in English on my staging site. Don’t know what to do.

I have a language display problem on my live site.

On my staging site it displays correctly in English but on my live site it displays in Spanish.

    My staging site is:
    http://www.stage.gourmetnoir.com/shop

    My live site is:
    http://www.gourmetnoir.com/shop

You can check this on both sites by clicking on the right mouse button and then “inspect element” on firefox.

Let me know why this is happening and how to solve this.

    Regards.

    By the way:

In addition, I also have another language display problem when selecting options in a variable product as it comes with a Spanish text “Hay existencias” instead of displaying “In stock”.

Try it for yourself after selecting product options (on my stage site it displays correctly the English language instead of Spanish but on my live site it displays in Spanish (not good):

This happens with all variation products.

    Hi @gourmetnoirweb,

I’m not currently able to access either your live or your staging site to test this, I get a 504 error for each.

Without digging into your site’s code, my first question would be whether you’ve ever set your live site’s language to Spanish (via Settings > General). If so, and you’ve since changed the language to English, there might be some caching causing an issue. I’d recommend reviewing your plugins for any that might be caching and/or asking your host if they implement any caching on their side. It’d be good to confirm whether clearing the cache resolves the issue or not.

If that doesn’t help, it will be great if you could share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

We’ll see if we can spot any clues about what may be happening from there.

    Thanks there.

I solved it. I managed to change the strings from the inside of the plugin “TranslatePress” somehow. It was not easy to find where to change but I managed in the end and it works.

    Best regards.

I’m glad to hear you were able to find a solution, and thank you for sharing it! I’ll mark this thread as resolved, but feel welcome to start a new one if anything else comes up.
