    Search the WordPress Plugins directory for ‘classified ads‘. Install and test plugins until you find one you like.

    Thank you. I did do the search and tried the bp classified and got an error. There is a website http://www.rides.com that has a classifieds page that is simple and I would like to recreate. Do you think it was created in wordpress?

    I doubt that is a WP site – the word ‘themes’ does not appear in any of the source for the Home page.

    ‘bp’ implies BuddyPress to me. If that is correct, you must have BuddyPress installed. Try some of the others.

    I have not used any of them. As I said, try some of them that sound promising from their descriptions.
