Hi and thanks for a great plugin.
I am using the Classified Listing plugin which has it’s own post type (rtcl_listing) but it also has Ad Types, which are kind of like Categories but are a separate thing that sit above categories when people are filling out the post form in the front end; would it be possible to limit posts in these, either using code or an edit to the plugin?
My set up is as follows – I have two created user roles, Business and Individual, which I have set different weekly limits on for Classified Listings, and I have 3 Ad Types, one of which I want to limit to only 1 post for Business and 0 posts for Individual, while the other existing limits I want to remain. If that is possible within your plugin as it stands, great, but I haven’t found a way to do it so far.

The problem I am having is that the shortcode [upl_limits format=”you have {left} left. “] does not show anything on the front end for Admin users (works perfectly for all other users): its a minor thing but is this a known bug or conflict? The admins have roles other than admin by the way (as listed above). I have tried both permissive and restrictive settings to see if that was the cause, and when I turned Document Statistics on the Admin users have blank entries, while other users have the correct numbers shown for their roles. Any help greatly appreciated.

Is this plugin still supported? It’s 3 days since I posted this.

    Hi,
Limits will not be applied on Admins or users with the Plugin Management Capability (configured in the plugin settings).
To set the admin frontend message use the code from the section (in the plugin’s docs): “How to set the message for users with no limits in the [upl_limits] shortcode?”
