Obviously at the moment I have WordPress core autoupdates turned off, because I’m on ClassicPress now. But will ClassicPress be supported in the future? I’m a new user of this plugin, and I like that I can manage all my themes, plugins and core updates at once. It would be nice if I can put ClassicPress core in there as well. 🙂

    Hi,

What kind of support are you meaning in particular? EUM supports ClassicPress in the sense that ClassicPress is just a lightly-edited version of WP 4.9, and still uses the WP plugins/themes directory.

I just want to be sure that when I tell EUM to allow core updates, it’s getting them from ClassicPress instead of WordPress. If this isn’t possible, then I can keep that part turned off and keep using it for plugins and themes.

EUM doesn’t have any input into where the updates come from, either way. It’s just hooked into core’s “There’s an update available, shall I update it now?” hook. Where the update actually comes from, it doesn’t know or care. So, you shouldn’t have any trouble.

Okay, I’ll see how it works. Thanks!
