    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

With “after button click”, do you mean after clicking the “TablePress table” button?

And which plugin are you using to show the Classic Post Editor? The “Classic Editor” plugin from https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/?

Does this happen with only that plugin and TablePress activated?

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hi @amunpote,

Quick update: We were able to reproduce this problem with the “Classic Editor” plugin — however only with Firefox as the web browser. Your screenshot also looks like it’s from Firefox?

Can you therefore maybe try using a different browser like Chrome (or insert the Shortcode manually, with copy/paste) until we can identify the root cause for this and fix this in the next plugin release? Thanks!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hey @tobiasbg,

The issue occurs only in Firefox; it’s working correctly in other browsers.
I really appreciate the quick response!

    Regards,
    Amun

    Hi @amunpote,

    Thanks for confirming!

I have investigated this further, and I think I found a way to also solve this in Firefox. I’ll test this some more, but it should then also be part of the next TablePress release in early January!

Thanks again for reporting this and all the best for 2026!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress in the plugin directory. Thanks!

    Hi @mihalich545,

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble! From what I can see, the cause for this problem is that another plugin is programmed in the wrong way and does not return an “array” where one is required.

Can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins (except TablePres and Classic Editor) and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four? That way, we can find what’s causing this.

    Regards,
    Tobias
