I cannot edit or save content when the classic editor is enabled. Troubleshooting efforts revealed that when I disable the
Embed Plus for YouTube Pro – Gallery, Channel, Playlist, Live Stream Plugin the editor works. Might there be a fix for this?

The Classic Editor Addon plugin enhances the Classic Editor plugin. If you have a plugin conflicting with the Classic Editor plugin, then you will need to contact those developers: https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/
