When i try to add tags to a page using classic editor, the entire page freezes…
All my debug leads to the classic editor.

Yes, same here. It happened after the update to the latest WordPress (5.9). Although I have downloaded the updated version (tested up to v. 5.9) from GitHub, the problem with tag’s freezing the page remains.

I’m also having this issue, although it only happens on some of the staff’s older computers. The site has over 93k tags, so it may have something to do with that. Is there a workaround?

Yet no workaround as far as I know. Our website has over 47k tags, so my guess would be that the huge number of tags can be a reason. I will try to contact the support.
