# classic editor + oembed

 * Facebook/Instagram recently changed their requirements for oembed, which has 
   led me to Jetpack as a possible solution. Does the oembed feature for Jetpack
   for Facebook/IG only work for block editors though? It doesn’t seem to work in
   the classic editor. Thanks.

 * Thanks. We tried that on version 9.2 and it didn’t populate posts for either 
   Facebook or Instagram. Does it need to be a newer version of the plugin?

 * Yes, I tested on Jetpack 9.2 and the shortcode embed does not work, but it does
   work on the latest Jetpack version (10.2)
