3rd party plugins don’t work with this new layout option. You have to go back to classic editor to find their settings. Also when you save in classic editor it reverts back to the new layout!

Not sure this should be forced onto your users, especially with 100’s of plugins that work along side Woocommerce that don’t work in this new view.

Rather then giving us the option on the editor window it would be a sensible to have a tick box under ‘Woocommerce’ setting under ‘Advance’ to allow us to revert back to classic view. This will allow developers to catch up with the new look and feel you have, as well as allowing your userbase to not have to jump through hoops to get the job done.

P.S Your feedback popup doesn’t work. The message above couldn’t be submitted even though I selected all the options given to me.

    Hi @poppydev ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’d like to address one concern at a time, if that’s okay 🙂

3rd party plugins don’t work with this new layout option. You have to go back to classic editor to find their settings. Also when you save in classic editor it reverts back to the new layout!

While we always strive to make WooCommerce as compatible as possible with popular plugins, it’s important to note that due to the vast number of third-party plugins available, it’s not always possible for us to guarantee successful compatibility with every single one.

What I can suggest, is using the Classic Editor plugin, and switching these settings to only allow the classic editor by navigating to Settings →  Writing, and choosing the following options seen in the screenshot below:

Rather then giving us the option on the editor window it would be a sensible to have a tick box under ‘Woocommerce’ setting under ‘Advance’ to allow us to revert back to classic view. I hear your concerns. Feel free to add this as an Enhancement request here.

From what I understand, this was meant to be submitted as a review, however you are experiencing issues while trying to submit this, is that correct?

Please could you try using a different browser and see if the review submits successfully?

If this makes no difference, please can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end when trying to submit the review.

Snipboard.io can be used for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

On the other hand, if I misunderstand your concern, please can you provide clarity on where you are trying to submit feedback so that we can take a closer look.

    Cheers!
