# Class 'Walker_CategoryDropdown' not found

 * I’ve just moved my WordPress site to a demo server and I’m getting the following
   error message:
 * “Fatal error: Class ‘Walker_CategoryDropdown’ not found”
 * I deactivated the plugin which removed the error message, but the message pops
   back up in the dashboard when I try to reactivate the plugin.
 * Any ideas?

 * `Walker_CategoryDropdown` is a class in wp-includes/category-template.php (see
   [https://github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/master/wp-includes/category-template.php#L1114](https://github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/master/wp-includes/category-template.php#L1114)),
   i.e. WordPress core class.
 * If the class is not being found, then you may have a corrupted WordPress install.

 * Thanks for the reply.
 * It’s working fine on my local version, so maybe some of the files in the wp-includes
   folder failed to upload correctly.
 * I’ll reupload everything and see if that makes a difference.
