This plugin attempts to create a class named “HttpRequest” which conflicts with the following PECL module: http://php.net/manual/en/class.httprequest.php. If a server has this extension installed, the plugin will fail. I rewrote the plugin to namespace the HttpRequest class. This fixed the problem. There’s also an issue with this plugin and a WP core file (media-upload.php lines 38-41) that causes a message (“Cheatin’ uh?”) to appear. I blame this message on the WP community for including error messages that are non informative. However, this plugin also shouldn’t trigger this error. The “Cheatin’ Uh?” error is related to permissions and an expected workflow within WP as far as I can tell. Didn’t do further research.
