@wittigdocs: Very surprising. We patched several sites with the same issue. Any way you’d consider sending us WordPress and FTP login credentials so we can troubleshoot?

If not, I’ll just let the developers know there may be another cause for this. Thanks for the notice.

Oh, if you are willing to submit credential, you can do so here:

I am having this same issue. Look forward to the fix. If you need any additional information I can supply some. Thanks!

@corymathews: Can you confirm if you are having this issue in 2.0.10, or still on 2.0.7? If you are having it on 2.0.10, we really need to take a full second look at this one.

Also, again for both of you, if you are on 2.0.10 and still having this, if you can submit a bug report with WordPress and FTP credentials (see link above), that would dramatically increase the speed at which we can fix this for you.

    thank you

I am still on 2.0.7 I do not have the choice to upgrade to 2.0.10 in wp. I will look into that.

    @wittigdocs: Thanks! Received credentials.

    Hi,

I have the same issue. I am on 2.0.7. You are talking about 2.0.10 but I am not able to upgrade on 2.0.10.

    many thanks,

@cubbaba30: We’ve now pushed out 2.0.11 today. This is an informal release, so you’d need to be familiar with FTP, and download the zip and upload the plugin files manually:

    http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta
    (see instructions on page)

Otherwise, this fix will be released officially probably on Monday, so you’ll be able to update from your WordPress admin area at that time.

    Hi,

I did it but the issue still continue, look at http://hodinky-tag-heuer.info/

Ran into the same issue using 2.0.7 & Twenty Eleven theme v 1.4.

Checked in firebug. Just looked like some malformed html in 2 places at the beginning of the html the shortcode generates. Although, it sounds like you have already addressed this in the update.

I am going to try and update the 2.0.11 beta version as suggested in this thread and see what happens.

Patched the site with .11 beta, issue persists. I am going to submit a bug report on your suggested page.

Also someone mentioned a workaround in this thread, deleting and recreating the gallery. if you have only 1 main gallery setup, this may work for you:

    Does nexgen cache things anywhere?
Is there a way to clear that cache?

Hi there, had the same issue with a few of my sites. First I thought is was the host that did not support 3rd party plugin’s but I got the same error on another server as well.

Once I went to the settings and set the template pages all worked 🙂

Thank you for posting this solution!! it worked for me too!
