I use the Chrome browser as my primary browser. In LifterLMS I’ve created a course, Introduction to Bible Doctrines. In the course creation module I completed all the fields and then using Course Builder added Sections and Lessons with my videos.

In previous support threads I had trouble with a corrupted Free Access Plan (It had a lot of unwanted text). Some how it finally displayed the correct Free Access Plan I had created. In the Course Creation Module I was able to see my Free Access Plan inserted above my List of Courses.

When I visit my live website’s, GCLC Courses (catalog), I click on the Theological Studies nested page, and then click on the Introduction to Bible Doctrines course. When the course opens and I scroll down to see the Price Table, it isn’t there.

Not only have I viewed my website in Chrome, but I also used the Mozilla Firefox and MS Edge browsers to view my course. In them the Price Table is visible with the Enrollment button.

I’ve gone into Chrome and deactivated all of the extensions, thinking they were the cause of Chrome’s compatibility issue. That didn’t work.

Question: Is there a compatibility issue with Chrome and LifterLMS? What can I do to get my course’s Price Table to show in the live side to my my website in Chrome?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @dr_dad,

LifterLMS is compatible with Google Chrome.

Could you try looking at the course on Goolge incognito tab to see if the pricing table shows up? (You can find this by clicking the three vertical buttons in the upper right side of the browser). If you are definitely seeing the pricing table in other browsers then there could be two reasons it’s not showing up in Chrome.

The first reason could be a caching issue, which is what the Incognito/private Chrome browser will tell me. If it’s visible there, then that’s good! That means it’s definitely loading and will be visible to users!

The other reason is that you are already logged in as the admin in Chrome so you’re not seeing the pricing table because you’re enrolled in the course as the admin so there wouldn’t be a need to display it to you. This is how it would work with users as well, once they’re enrolled in the course the pricing table hides itself to them.

So, if the pricing table shows up in incognito, then you will want to logout on your main browser and see if it shows up when you are not logged into your site as normal. If it does, then the problem was just looking at the page as an admin!

    I hope this helps!

Let me know if you have any questions about running through this troubleshooting process!

    Natalie,

I looked at the course on Google incognito to see if the pricing table shows up. I’m happy to say that it did. But, in incognito mode, I logged into my Dashboard as the administrator, clicked on view website in a new tab, and the pricing table didn’t show up.

It appears as if my problem is solved with the pricing table not showing up.

Also, while in incognito mode I was able to access my course from the GCLC Courses tab and the courses sections and lessons were visible, but could not be clicked on to watch the video lesson without being enrolled. That problem was solve, also.

The last obstacle is how to test that enrolled students are prompted to login/logout to watch the course’s video training (see my thread topic concerning this: Student Login/Logout and Account Information). How can I test for this feature.

Thank You!! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

    Hi @dr_dad,

Awesome! I’m glad we’ve got those issues resolved.

So, for the final part. You can test this by incognito mode actually. If you are logged out, you can go to your course and you will see that anywhere the student tries to click they are informed they must be enrolled to access the course’s content.

You could add the Student Dashboard to the site menu to make logging in easier, and maybe a note that if you’re already enrolled you must go log in. However, if someone were to click enroll they will be given the option to login from the enrollment page.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks and take care,

Since I haven’t heard back from you in a while I’m going to mark this topic resolved. If you need some more help here please just reply and I’ll reopen it and get back to work.
