# Choosing a theme

 * I’m a total beginner, attempting to choose a theme for my WordPress site. I’ve
   been led to believe that this is a critical decision; however, it seems many 
   of the themes are very customizable so how exactly am I narrowing down my choice?
 * Is it safe to say that if I purchase any one of the fifty themes on themeforest.
   com that have upwards of 30,000 purchasers and five star ratings, it will work
   well for my purposes? Especially since most of them have 20-30 layouts I can 
   choose from?
 * Am I missing something?
