# Choose Payment Methods

 * Is there a way to choose which payment methods we want to accept with this plugin?
   For example, if I only wanted to accept Visa and MasterCard how would I set that
   up?

 * Not with this plugin no. Sure you could probably hide the visible icons but ultimately
   Stripe determines what card is accepted. I am not sure if it is possible on Stripe’s
   side but you can contact them about this.

 * Hello Royho,
 * Based on the settings in the Stripe dashboard it doesn’t seem like you can control
   what cards are accepted.
 * I imagine you could control this via the plugin though. I see that credit card
   prefixes are already recognized via the CC text field input. Could you use those
   same prefixes to block certain cards from being used?
 * The following are screenshots from a Braintree plugin. I was wondering if settings
   like this could be implemented to this plugin in a later update.

 * The reason I ask is because it seems 3D Secure is only supported by Visa and 
   Mastercard for US based businesses using Stripe. If that is the case I don’t 
   want to accept other card brands that are not supported.

   I would encourage you to add your vote/comments there.
 * It’s also worth noting that not all issuers would issue cards which support 3DS
   so by only accepting Visa/MC would not necessarily mean that all cards used would
   be 3DS compatible.
