    What do you mean by “default template”?

    Nicola,

    I mean the default template from wordpress theme (eg. WordPress Twenty Ten default page template is with a sidebar), so when you view events the sidebar is always shown.

    Hi,

    this is something that the theme must handle, not the plugin. We just attach our content, the layout is decided by the WordPress theme, you should add a check for post type and then render/not render the sidebar
