    Hello,

sorry if this topic already exists…
I see there are multiple .mo language files in the ‘lang’ folder.
But how can I activate my own language?

@unika – By default, setting your native language in your WordPress Settings options will trigger using the appropriate language file from NextGEN Gallery if it exists or is available via the WordPress translation repository. If your language is not available you may need to address that yourself by either contributing to the community translations or possibly with the following plugin (or something similar): https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/

    Thanks!

I’m from Belgium. At the settings page, the language was set to ‘nl’, everything was in dutch except NGG. I changed the language from ‘nl’ to ‘nederlands’ and NGG’s language also changed to dutch.
    Thanks for the advice!
