# CHMOD?

 * Hello.
 * I recently installed my copy of Word Press, but it takes a lot of to publish 
   a new item.
 * I was wondering if I have to set any CHMOD values, as I think this may be part
   of the problem.

 * Folders at 755
    Files at 644 except any files you choose to alter. Slowness will
   not be chmod related. I would imagine it is pinging related.
