Chinese font in wordpress

Hi!

Anyone know which is the most common, error free chinese font that can be display in all OS and browser? Because I faced the problem that, different OS, different browser will display different font thinkness, and sizes.

I am a newbie in wordpress, please guide me step by step if you have any idea about this.

You’re using Helvetica which doesn’t work in Internet Explorer.

@font-face is a technique to embed the font into the browser, so it works on all browsers.

Try downloading Helvetica
http://www.linotype.com/526/helvetica-family.html

Then use Font Squirrel’s generator to generate CSS and fonts
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator

Copy and paste the font files into your theme directory (somewhere).
Copy and paste the CSS into your stylesheet.

Make sure the CSS URL path is correct.

I am actually facing the biggest problem in MacOS or safari reading those chinese font. What would be the best font for all?

Hi Andrew,

regarding yr previous post. Is that work with chinese font as well?

I still facing the problem which Safari @ MacOS and Linux the chinese font show up differently.

You can noticed that the chinese font at menu bar show up different, some big, some small, some thin, some thick.

Any Idea how to solve?
