    Hi everyone,
I have faced with a site arrangement problem after creating child theme. I have created a child theme and after this I can not edit my menus on the admin site. Any changes I make there gives no effect in my website. Does anybody know the reason of that and what shall I do with this? My theme I use is Pinboard. My website address is http://www.dumse.lt
Thank you a lot for your help.

How have you created a Child Theme?
    Were you following this document
    codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

I had the same issues and noticed that its best, if you edit a css or php, make a copy in your child theme directory and it should work. BTW you have to activate your child theme to work. Hope this helps.

Does your child theme support custom menu’s?

Andrew, Firstly I have tried to follow that doc, but after all actions everything went very messy in my website. After this I found a plugin which made all work for me. And noticed it made exactly the same as I was doing (probably I made a mistake somewhere).

Asterix111, child theme is activated. Could you advice me which file should I copy to child directory to make my menus editable?

Peter_L, Yes, my theme supports custom menus.

I found solution by myself. It was kind of stupidity of myself 🙂 All I had to do is to select my menu I have created on the “theme locations”. Funny isn’t it? 🙂
