    Hi,

    The website is still on construction, I am not succeeding on creating a child theme that works, I have done it before for twenty nineteen.

    Is the function.php script you share here, https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/ maybe not working with this new theme?

    The child theme would normally appear in the source in the inspector, not this time.

    Thanks!

    Cheers

  • this simplified enqueuing of the child stylesheet works for me:

    /*twentytwentyonechild functions*/
    function twenty_twenty_one_child_style() {
    	wp_enqueue_style( 'child-style', get_stylesheet_uri() );
    }

    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'twenty_twenty_one_child_style', 20 );
