• I created a child theme following the directions at CryoutCreations. However, when I activate the child theme, the styling is very distorted and does not look at all like it should. I still have the child theme activated so you can view it. The URL is adirtygamer.com

    Here is the code that I put in the child theme style sheet.

    /*
    Theme Name: Tempera Child
    Description: This is a child theme for the Tempera theme
    Author: Jay M Cee
    Template: tempera
    */

    @import url("../tempera/style.css");

    Would someone help me and tell me what I am doing incorrectly or what I have forgotten?

  • This is the only thing I see in your child theme’s stylesheet (located at wp-content/themes/tempera-child/style.css):

    /*
    Theme Name: Tempera Child
    Description: This is a child theme for the Mantra theme. Oh mama, if you could see me now.
    Author: Jay M Cee
    Template: tempera
    */

    I did not do anything, but it looks like it is displaying correctly now. Do you have any idea why the code that you were seeing and the code that was in my child theme folder would be different?
