Support » Theme: Clean Retina » Child Theme Needed for Customizing CSS?

  • Resolved Lane Lester

Thank you for this very nice addition to the free WP resources. The impressive array of options makes it likely this theme can serve for multiple sites.

I don’t find the header options sufficient for my preferences, primarily in the large amount of vertical space it occupies both with and without a logo and/or text. If I place some corrective CSS in the Theme Options / Design Options / Custom CSS, will those changes be preserved through a theme update? Or should I create a child theme for that purpose?

  • Hi Lane Lester,
Any custom css that you will add in custom css box will be preserved after theme update too. You don’t need to create child theme for that.
