    Hi!

When I use the non Essential pack version of a YITH plugin placing a folder with it’s name in my child theme works to have my edits override the bits they change in the overall plugin.

but when the plugin is part of the Essential pack neither

    THEME-child/YITH-extention-name/

    nor

    THEME-child/yith-essential-kit-for-woocommerce-1/modules/YITH-extention-name/

    overrides anything

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-essential-kit-for-woocommerce-1/

    what is the correct syntax?

    Hi there,

sorry with “YITH-extention-name” you mean that you override a the plugin folder ?

Can you provide a real example of what you do ?

    yeah that’s it.

here as you can see I currently have a working override of my woocommerce plugin in my child theme (I deleted the attempt I made at overriding a YITH plugin :

and here is my YITH essential kit tree:

If I try to reproduce this hiarchy in my child theme like I did with woocommerce, nothing happens.

    Hi there,

you can’ t override the essential kit file in that way, you can just override the woocommerce template like you do if you install a module as single plugin, starting by woocommerce dir.
