Child Theme image override

    Theme: showtime

    hopefully you can follow this… I have created a sub domain site using the wordpress MU system, and all is working well.

    I would like to have the look and feel the same as my parent site, and am only changing a few things for the new information.

    So where I am at is this…I have created a child theme, and am able to activate that. Everything is working well.

    I would like to change the intro_text.png file to show differently on the sub domain site only. that file shows up on the home page as the “Recognize | Motivate | Reward” heading above the revolving pictures.

    I am having trouble finding a way to change that…

    I have tried
    changing the file path in the slider_3d.php file…no effect
    Changed the header.php and functions.php files…no effect
    created child_slider_3d files for the .css, .js, and .php files…the revolving pictures are placed wrong…

    Can someone point me in the right direction to change that file and have it point to the child theme folder for the new intro_text.png file?
